Kate Rybak

Kate is an educator and executive principal full time. When she is not at one of her two schools, she can be found at GUV selling bikes. But she is primarily our operations manager providing behind the scenes support bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Kate provides media and web support for GUV.  She participates annually in the local Cycling Schools program, taking students from her east side school from the Slavic Village neighborhood out into the CVNP for a 10 mile bike ride each October. Additionally, she is instrumental in our community outreach efforts through Velosano, Cornerstone of Hope fundraising, and iCan Bike. Last but not least, she serves as Co-Race director for our annual Criterium race in Independence. 

She and Brian have been married for 19 years and while Kate was born and raised in Independence, she and Brian reside with their 3 children and 2 basset hounds in Lakewood.
